i have had a cople of people come up to me in the p ast month and a half and ask me why wont my 3.8 vortec or 4.3 vortec wont start in the cold, sometimes it wont start in the warm weather. well here it is
its your fuel pump. a 4.3 requires 50 to 65 psi on start up but only 35 to 45 on running, so you can do it two ways replace your pump with a new one that has been made different so it wont go out agian. the first ones sucked bad design. or get a can of carb cleaner and spray it in the engine everytime you wanna start it, cause the pumps create 45 psi nicely just not 50 to 65. it will run after you crank the vehicle.
i dont know if this will help anyone but it might thought i would post it anyways
